I. Body Fat Analyzers: What are these?

Body fat analyzers are methods or techniques used in measuring one’s body fat. As analyzers, these methods can determine one’s body fat percentage and from there identify possible health condition of a certain person. Indeed, body fat analyzers can help improve one’s health and make one’s goal of losing weight more effective.

In analyzing body, it is important for one to understand that it cannot be simply determined by using a regular bathroom scale for body fat is different from body weight. It is important to know whether one’s fat composition is still healthy or someone is already obese. If this is known then one take necessary actions in order to prevent serious health conditions like high blood pressure, high cholesterol levels, heart attacks, diabetes and cancer. Moreover, body fat analyzers can give one a clear picture of one’s physical and health condition by knowing how many unhealthy fats are present in the body and how much is the actual lean mass.


II. The Body Fat Analyzers

Below are some of the body fat analyzers that are being used to determine one’s body fat measurements:

DEXA or Dual Enenrgy X-Ray Absorptiometry is a body fat analyzer that can be considered as one of the most accurate analyzer. This method is based on three factors. These factors are the bones, muscle and fat unlike other analyzers where only two are used to determine body fat. This method scans the body to determine fat composition while lying motionless for about 10 to 20 minutes. This method can usually found in some research facilities.. In spite its accuracy, one may be set back due to its cost per scan.

The tanita scale is another method of measuring fat. IN application, the tanita scale looks like a normal bathroom scale. However, one need to input the age, gender and height then one should step into it. The scale has electrodes in the foot sensor pads and these sends low and safe signal to the body. As a result, the scale measures one’s body weight together with the fat composition in it.


III. What Now?

There are still other methods that can be used to measure fats. Some methods can be very easy to use while other methods may entail much mathematical formulas. Also, there some cheap ones and the very expensive method due to the use of some sophisticated machines. However, one should be wise to choose among these methods and take into account accuracy of the process and cost as the priority.

Hello

I definitely know that I AM carb addict.

recently I discovered Dr. Heller's diet/lifestyle. I gave it a try, and it was literaly like magic... I could care less about sweets, I mean I still knew that I loved it and remembered it gave me high, but I could live without it! no binging, no self control, nothing, I felt FREE!

However, because of one unplanned meal and eating pizza spontaneously w/o salad/veggies etc. I lost my freedom, I was back, caring big stone of this addiction on my shoulders.

Then I thought, it was not hard before, why not just start with breakfast with eggs, just like last time and w/o effort "magic" will happen again. Unfortunately it is not working... I still have cravings and start binging.. tried again, same thing. My question is "what happened, why is it not working like the first wonderful time?" and "if you can help, what should I do to get back there?"

PLEASE!!
