Switch Batman with Superman, and switch Flash with Aquaman, and I think the list would be close to perfect.

I would have to agree with argon here...and also, when you're talking about Robin, the best would have to be Dick Grayson..so, in that case I would put Nightwing in the 10th spot (although, now Grayson is Batman...).

I agree with Glimmer, that and despite being a wheelchair Oracle really makes the Batman clan (since he seems to collect sidekicks these days) even work. That and she was the original Batgirl.. Speaking of which the new Batgirl would have to be a close #10, but she might not quite make the cut.

Seriously, Batman has no "super powers". One well placed bullet or someone with extraordinary strength, would end Batmans career rather abrubtly. Green Lantern (Hal Jordan), and Superman would probably tie for first place.

I think some not as well known characters could make the list eventually if they were updated. Characters like "The Creeper", "Challengers of The Unknown" "Thunder Agents"

"Adam Strange" Admittedly some are groups but I also think these characters should be looked at for potential movies. I wonder how many people remember "Sea devils" and "Doom Patrol"

My opinion is that batman should be #1. Simple, he only have human power, he made himself a superhero just by training and as entrepreneur, with his brilliant mind he invented all his weapons. Batman has no stupid weakness like superman to (kryptonite)or Green Lantern to the (yellow color or the yellow ring). Moreover Batman beside spending his time saving lives, he adopted Robin (Batman do not claim Robin on his taxes), also he provided food and shelter to a poor elderly man...lol and Batman unlike other heroes, he drink alcohol, enjoy party and like women no only one but many.

well,superman can easily finish batman's carrier....but batman is a normal guy but because he is rich and his father with lucious fox made superb gadgets/weapons for the army of the next generations but before he could launch it he died and when bruce wayne saw that weapons or gadgets..... he always wanted to take revenge of his parents death he thought to take the revenge in his different form he became 'the batman'.....i have given extra information but anyways batman is the best

Personally, when I'm thinking about who the best superhero/heroine is, I think about how they would be if all bets were off, and it was a no-holds-barred fight. In that case, Superman would trump all others, simply due to the fact he could kill anyone from five miles away with his eyes, and if he got close, he could punch them into space.

Batman is awesome, and i just dont like green lantern Hal Jordan or any green lanterns because he punched batman in the face and got away with it. Batman can beat superman by the way. All he needs is time, because in tower of babel his contingency plans were used to briefly incapacitate the justice league. By the way i haaaaaaaaaaate Green lantern
